BIOGRAPHY
I am a UX/UI Designer and Front-end Developer. I’m from the great Windy City of Chicago, IL, and my goal is to mix coding and design to create interactive digital products, game designs, and programs.
I firmly believe in user-centered design and am committed to understanding the needs of my audience. Whether working on a complex web application or an interactive game, I prioritize accessibility, usability, and aesthetic balance in every project. Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between design and development, crafting digital experiences that are as intuitive and functional as they are visually engaging.
RESUME
MY CAREER JOURNEY
I’m from the Great Windy City of Chicago, Illinois. I grew up wondering what I was going to do with my life. It was during my 4th-grade year of elementary that I took my first computer class where I learned block coding in Scratch, a block-based programming language that is mainly used for children and beginners to learn the fundamentals of coding and computational thinking in a fun, and interactive way. I passed that class with an A.
During High School, I continued my interest in tech and took another Computer Science class, continuing to use Scratch and other basic programming applications. I also took my first Psychology class and it was there when was introduced to Graphic Design. There was a section of the class where I was to create a infographic in Canva to spread awareness about mental health and where to seek help. These classes grew my interest in Design.
When I entered College, I majored in Computer Science, till I then discovered my passion for blending the logical structure of coding with the creativity of design, which led me to major in Graphic Design. When I began taking Graphic Design courses I loved working on the materials for each of the classes I took. I then decided that Graphic Design was the career I wanted to pursue.
